There is never a bad time to talk about feminism and support for women's rights. Topics about which we will bring some additional information in this very article.

Feminism represents a series of political, ideological and social movements that have a common goal: to define, establish and respect the political, economic, personal and social rights of women. The feminist movement also includes trying to establish equal opportunities for women in education and the workplace.

As an overview, feminism advocacy is primarily concerned with ending injustices around the world by promoting women's rights. It has various ways of use and manifestation, from lobbying strategies to ministerial meetings of the World Trade Organization, to the reform of discriminatory gender policies.

Throughout history, women have fought for various rights, from the right to vote, to the right to own property, to the right to education, to the right to take part in various political processes. In recent years, the focus of the women's rights movement has fallen on health and reproductive rights issues, economic inequality, sexual harassment and rap culture.

Upholding women's rights based on gender equality is an important and long-standing goal. Supporters of women's rights believe that women should have equal rights with men in all areas of private and public life including education, the workplace and participation in politics. They also believe that women should be treated with respect and dignity and that their unique perspectives should be valued.

Seeing the progress of women's rights, the question arises "Why are the feminist movement and its support still important today?".

Despite progress, women still face significant barriers to gender equality. In several countries around the world, women are still not given equal rights to men and are not treated equally in the workplace.

According to the Global Gender Gap Report 2022 by the World Economic Forum, gender parity is not improving. It is predicted that it will take more than 130 years to close the current gender gap. According to the report in question, the most affected areas are economic and political participation. Women earn less than men in most states and are more likely to live in poverty. At the same time, violence against women was a major problem all over the world; women are not safe at home or in public places.

It is necessary to continue campaigning for women's rights until gender equality becomes a reality for everyone. By supporting feminism we can support a fairer, fairer world. We can play a key role in creating a world where gender equality is a reality, just by trying to help raise awareness of the issues around it and taking action.
